Mighty Men Conference Central South Africa (MMC Central SA) is an organisation that is non-denominational and aims to serve people irrespective of race, colour, creed, age or gender within Central South Africa.
MMC Central SA actively promotes authority and power through fellowship. We are committed to building principled men of faith, leaders and brave fathers with character, and integrity. We support men to succeed, mature and be spiritual fathers in their homes, churches and communities.
The original Mighty Men Conferences took place seven times on Angus Buchan’s Farm Shalom in Greytown, Kwazulu Natal. The final two, held in 2009 and 2010, each attracted between 200 000 and 300 000 conference goers.
“Men are looking for the freedom to come together in greater strength for their families and businesses. God knows about this hunger, He has heard the prayers of believers and I think He is ready.” Angus Buchan
Most of those who attended the conference called it a life-changing experience, according to Lesley Ashwell, who has been attending the conference ever since it started. “It was absolutely awesome and humbling, seeing grown men cry.”
“Angus said it is the last one here at Shalom, from now on there will be men’s conferences all over but they will not be organised by Shalom” said Shalom Ministries’ spokeswoman, Bianca Ortmann. (From Times Live)
